He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will abide in the Shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. This verse gives wonderful assurance to us of rest and peace always within the shelter of our God. But how do we abide in Him? What is His Shadow? How do we come to know God and trust Him? Who is our God? Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. How unsearchable are His judgements, and how incomprehensible are His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? And who has given to Him that he should be repaid by Him? For from Him and to Him and through Him are all things. In Him be the glory forever amen.
Romans 11:33-36 Isaiah 40:13. (TVL version)
Before the world began God envisioned you. He thought about you, and He delighted in you. At the right time He created your inner most being, the person He envisioned you to be. He wove your body together in your mother’s womb as a vessel for Him to indwell with His peace and love. Psalm 139. He longs to have fellowship with all whom He
has created, and that means you. He wants to indwell in your heart.
He wants to shelter you in His Shadow. The way to His Presence is to repent of your sins, receive His Atoning Blood He shed for you on the cross that cleanses you from all your sins, and you can have intimate fellowship with the Most High God and discover the purpose of your life.
He created you, and He also gave the operator’s manual of His Instructions to you, so you can know how to live the best possible life. This is His Word, the Bible. It was His Word Who became flesh and dwelt amongst us John 1:1-14. And it was His Word made flesh Who willingly took upon Himself all your sins and then He actually became your sins. And as your sins, He was nailed to the cross where all God’s wrath for your sins was poured out on Him. He was pierced and crushed for your sins, and the Blood from those wounds cleanses you from all your sins. Isaiah 53. He knows all about you, even things you don’t know about yourself. And He longs to set you free and give you abundant life, because He willing took your sins upon Himself.
How great is the love of God that His own Word Who decrees your judgement would take your judgement for you. It is to set you free.
All you do is ask Him and then receive. There is no news better than this! He invites you to come dwell in His Shadow.
What is His Shadow? To have a shadow you have to have a light.
There is no shadow without a light. God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. In His Light we see Light. He is the source of all light. In Him is Light, and that Light is the life of man. His Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not over come it. John 1:4, 5. He is the source of our light and life. His light is too bright for us, so we are sheltered in His Shadow. Can we trust, have faith in Him? What is faith? Faith in faith is nothing. Faith has to be in something. Real faith in God means faith in the truth of God’s faithfulness. God’s Word is Truth. It embodies and is the source of all truth. His Word assures us He is not only all Truth, but He is also faithful to us even when we are not faithful to Him. ll Timothy 2:13. Be completely assured of His Truth and faithfulness. Then you can abide in His presence and dwell in the Shadow of His love and Light that is your Life.
